All goods remain the property of Maestro Music until paid for in full. All new instruments carry a 12 month guarantee. All orders must be accompanied by payment before goods are dispatched (except official educational orders.)
Following ordering you will be notified of stock availability, expected date of dispatch, and member of staff handling the order as a point of contact. We aim to dispatch orders within 72 hours of receipt of order. Orders placed after 15.30 will be processed the next working day.
Should an item be out of stock we will advise you of an expected delivery date. We do not guarantee the suitability of goods for a particular purpose, and advise that you check the specifications and compatibility before ordering. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, and personal cheque. Cheques may require clearing before goods can be dispatched and should a cheque ‘bounce’ we will charge £10. We reserve the right to charge interest on any overdue balance over 30 days from invoice date.
We reserve the right to send items using the carrier we consider most suitable. Should an item arrive damaged Maestro Music should be notified immediately quoting the invoice number. It is the responsibility of the customer to keep all damaged items (including packaging). If we are unable to claim from the carrier due to lack of evidence the customer may be held responsible for the damage.
Maestro Music cannot be held liable for repair work carried-out by third party repairers, unless authorised in advance.
In accordance with consumer protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, the consumer has seven working days in which to cancel the contract of sale (without reason), starting from the day after receipt of goods.
Should an item need to be returned it is the consumer’s responsibility to pay for carriage (unless the goods are being returned to us as faulty.) The consumer is also responsible for ensuring safe delivery of the returned item.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. All goods are sold subject to The Sale of Goods Act 1979, The Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994, the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the Distance Selling Act 2000.
